About

I am Mohammadreza Maleki, a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Trustworthy AI Research Lab at Toronto Metropolitan University and a Vector Faculty Affiliate Researcher. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Systems Engineering from TMU and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.

My research focuses on trustworthy machine learning, including neural-network verification, certified robust training, and sequential distribution-shift detection. I connect mathematical optimization and statistical inference with reproducible Python/PyTorch experiments, using benchmarking, ablation studies, error analysis, and robustness evaluation. I am an author or coauthor of published and under-review work in certified robustness, robust ensembles, and optimization-based verification.

My applied experience includes AI-agent workflows, prompt refinement, structured evaluation, product experimentation, and causal inference. I am interested in ML engineering, machine-learning research, AI science, and data science roles that combine mathematical reasoning with implementation and empirical evaluation.
